Use of EPO standardized publication, application and priority numbers
Searchable simple families, non-searchable extended families
All search criteria have their own index, e.g. to check name variations.
Search result list has customizable content and is sortable, e.g. by dates, numbers, family size – ascending, descending or using search engine default ranking.
Barcharts ranking and correlating the results according to various criteria (applicant, IPC etc.). Bar charts for 15 parameters (Applicant, CPC etc.) and bubble charts for 10 parameters (Earliest priority date, Country of applicant etc.).
Current download limits:
• 10,000 result list entries (bibliographic data, titles and abstracts), e.g. in CSV format
• 1,500 documents (bibliographic data, titles, abstracts and legal event data), e.g. in ODT format
• 10 full documents in PDF format

‘WITH’ operator for more accurate search results compared with ‘AND’ operator. Anti-proximity can be realized by a combination of ‘NOT’ and ‘Proximity operator.’ Maximum of 5 wildcards per term are allowed.
