Database description

The Eurasian Patent Information System (EAPATIS) was developed by the Eurasian Patent Office. EAPATIS is an information retrieval system operating since 2000 and designed to conduct patent search, analysis and retrieval of documents. This tool is used in full mode by the Eurasian Patent Office examiners, examiners of national patent offices of the EAPO Member States and a number of national libraries, universities, scientific and research centers in the EAPO Member States. In full mode, access to information on almost 90 million patent documents (as of July 2023) is provided, including PCT Minimum Documentation collections and EAPO-tailored database of patent documentation of the Eurasian region.
Access to EAPATIS is open for the general public free of charge in guest mode. In this mode access to the full collection of Eurasian applications and patents (in Russian) and CISPATENT collection (in English) is provided, as well as the search by document number in all available collections.
Fee-based full access is available via subscription.
Data in EAPATIS is linked with other databases such as Eurasian Patent Register, Eurasian Publication Server and some external patent information sources.
