WTMPD processes deep data in the field of traditional medicine, with the title and abstract of each patent rewritten according to the characteristics of the medicine patent data after an in-depth reading by professionals, so as to make the corresponding information more concise, accurate and complete. The WTMPD system extracts technical subject keywords and disease keyword information to improve the user's recall rate and precision rate. It gives each patent a category of technical subject classification, helping users to directly search for the technical scope of the medicine of interest without having to read patents one by one, greatly improving search efficiency. The WTMPD system collects and organizes natural medicine information, and also collects and organizes information on natural medicine compounds.

(1) Technical subject classification statistics: WTMPD indexes technical subjects, so it can achieve statistical analysis on technical topics. This helps users to search results to achieve technical topic classification, without having to read patents one by one, which greatly improves analysis efficiency.
(2) Subject term statistics: WTMPD extracts technical keywords (subject terms) for each patent in order to obtain subject term statistics on search results, and to help users to obtain information on commonly used medicine and their compatibility.
(3) Disease statistics: WTMPD extracts the therapeutic effects of patents, so the user can search disease statistics, obtain relevant data related to the disease, and carry out statistical analysis.
(4) Statistics of legal events in China: WTMPD classifies and organizes historical legal events of Chinese patents.
(5) Applicant and/or inventor: available as groupings in all charts and tables
(6) Classification: available as groupings in all charts and tables
(7) Dates: publication, application;

Operators
General operators
Boolean (AND, OR, NOT, XOR)
Comparison (e.g. >, =<)
Proximity (within range)
Special

WTMPD allows the use of Boolean operators AND, OR, and NOT. WTMPD also supports an ordered proximity operator (BEFORE) and unordered proximity operator (NEAR), which limit the distance between terms combined with these operators. The distance between terms can be customized by adding a number after the proximity operator (e.g. NEAR10 would limit the distance between terms to 10 or less terms in the results). Terms can be truncated using the asterisk (*), representing between zero and an unlimited number of characters, or a question mark (?), representing exactly one character.
